Extracting DPR audio files is no problem, because they are PCM uncompressed like the Windows WAV files, but I have tried to extract the video files with the infamous program SMXCONV provided with VM-Studio, and it is a nightmare! Do you know any way to extract those files to still images, so I can pick them up as animation files in other editing software?

I'm writing with hat in hand... looking for someone that might be able to assist me with a FAST DDPR problem. I have a system that I purchased many years ago, and I finally decided to upgrade the hard drives to a Maxtor Atlas IV wide SCSI drive. This is where I ran into problems.... The DPR board that I have doesn't match my manual, mainly because I had it replaced when the original one died on me a few years back. If anyone could hlp me with the spec for a semi grunty machine with suitable disk space:

-HDD spec
-CPU?
-Video cards?.can they also do DV and video capture?
-other spec requirements that are a must.

Idealy I would like to rock up to a PC store and have a wish list of standards and parts..spec's.
