Yes, we're using Clipmaster, which is the first multimedia device we have really used before.

It appears to be good, but difficult to use without reading the manual.

We currently have a problem where recorded clips are not imported into the workspace area (which now also won't import files either). Talking to FAST, they have seen this before and recommend de-installing CM, reducing the graphics acceleration of the PC and then re-installing CM.

Just about to do this now, so hopefully will work.

We only really use the CM for grabbing VHS to digital to incorporate into powerpoint presentations we create, but feel this may be taken further with in-house production of our corporate video and items relating to our products etc. We are a major glove importer/manufacturer (mainly industrial/medical).

We have taken corporate videos from some of our suppliers in the Far East and grabbed them. We have then clipped segments, etc and presented within powerpoint and the quality is very acceptable. However, we are using a cheap and old VHS recorder to provide the input, which could be better. As the quality of the originating videos wasn't that good in the first place, the quality when presented was really quite good - obviously better if using a digital input.

We are not in the multimedia market for presentations, but produce a fair amount in house. Spending a few hundred pounds on Clipmaster is an excellent compromise (as you can spend thousands). If you like I could e-mail you a short clip.

We present directly from laptops as well as a multimedia projector (quality is excellent). Let me know about samples.
